Imani Kajula is a CEO and founder of East Africa Business Consortium (EABC) , where he continues to help the EABC to realise its vision of playing a significant role in promoting tourism, entrepreneurship, youth advancement and promoting trade between the East African Region and the world. Prior to join EABC, Imani was a CEO of Simba Sports Club. Between 1999 and 2013, Imani served as Director of Marketing, Communication and Business Development for TCB, NMB Bank and CRDB Bank. Imani played a crucial role in transforming banks from brick and mortal to self-service channels such as mobile money and agents banking. Imani Kajula serves as a Board Chairman of Tanzania National College of Tourism and a Board member of East Africa Business Consortium, Selous Marathon, Tanzania Tea Board, and Touch Health. For more than 10 years, he served as Patron for Dar es Salaam University Marketing Association. Imani is a mentor of Tanzania Young Women Leaders program managed by CARE International. He is also a recipient of the Life Time Marketing Award from Tanzania Marketing Science Association and a member of Rotary Club of Salasala, Tanzania. He is a graduate of Aligarh University and Computer Academy in India. Imani is a sports fanatic, especially soccer, and a charity devotee.
